PRIVACY NOTICE
We (Oasis Dental Care Limited, trading as Bupa Dental Care) recognise that when you give us personal information, you’re trusting us to take good care of it.
What we do with your data
Bupa Dental Care will collect the information you provide for the purpose of attending The Bupa Learning Lounge online CPD event and issuing a CPD certificate. We will also use your information to contact you about any vacancies and/or future events if you have opted in.
By law, we must have a lawful reason for processing your personal information. We will rely on legitimate interest as the legal basis to process your personal data for the purposes of registering you for the event, issuing your CPD certificates, and recording any feedback you provide about the event. We will rely on consent as the legal basis to process your personal data for the purposes of contacting you about any vacancies and future events if you have opted in. You have the right to withdraw this consent at any time by contacting learninglounge@bupadentalcare.co.uk. If you withdraw your consent, this will not affect the lawfulness of how we used your personal information before you withdrew your permission.
Sharing your data
We use VFairs as a data processor. Data processors are third parties who provide elements of a service for us. We have processes in place to make sure that your information is protected when we share it with third parties, such as entering into contracts with them which require them to only use personal information in the ways we have instructed and to hold it securely.
How long we keep your data
We will keep a copy of the personal information associated with your registration for 30 days after the event has ended so that you can obtain your CPD certificates, after which time the information will be securely deleted, unless you have told us you want to hear about career opportunities at Bupa Dental Care or you wish to be contacted about future events. If you wish to be contacted about career opportunities, we will retain your name, email, GDC number, job role, and location. If you wish to be contacted about future events, we will retain your name, email, and job role. You can opt out of such communications at any time.
Your rights
You have the following rights with regard to your personal data: the right to access your information, to ask us to correct any mistakes, to delete your data, to object to the use of your information, and to restrict the use of your information. Please contact learninglounge@bupadentalcare.co.uk if you wish to exercise any of these rights.

You also have a right to make a complaint to your local privacy supervisory authority. Our main establishment is in the UK, where the local supervisory authority is the Information Commissioner’s Office.
